Happy New Year Everyone!!! I'm so grateful God allowed us to enter into 2019! That means he has a purpose for each one of us. The new year brings about the traditional resolutions. I personally don't make New Year's resolutions. I've always been goal oriented. I complete a vision board along with setting realistic goals. I revisit my goals frequently and make the necessary changes throughout the year. Goal setting enables you to be productive about what you want to achieve. The scripture reads, "write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." Habakkuk 2:2 There is power in goal setting. As you accomplish a goal, your confidence gets stronger. So, if you haven't, take a moment and
visualize how you want your future to look and set goals that will make your Dreams a Reality!
With this week's look, I'm wearing the perfect winter uniform. You can't go wrong when pairing a turtleneck and skirt, the layering options are endless. I'm wearing a black turtle neck with a multicolor striped sequin mini skirt (both purchased at Forever 21). This skirt is flirty, fun, and vibrant, and I LOVE sequins! I layered this look by adding a faux leather moto jacket (purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue), to add a bit of edge. For accessories, I paired black tights and a black roll down clutch, I wanted basic accessories. To add contrast, I paired white ankle boots (purchased at Nordstrom), to pop against the black tights.
